Directions
- Take the Starry Sky piece that is 2 ¾ x 8 ½ – score it at 4 ¼ so that it’s folded in half. Now you’ll adhere this piece 1 inch from the left side and even with the top of the card base. Set aside.
- Base top layer – Stamp the tree limb in Soft Suede about 1 ½ inches from the bottom right corner. Repeat on the left side flipping the tree limb about 1 ¼ inches from the bottom. Stamp leaves in Parakeet Party and flowers in Orchid Oasis, use Sweet Sorbet dark for the center of the flowers. In the upper right corner using the straight-line stamp, stamp two lines 1 about 1 inch in from the side and the second one ½ inch from the side. Using scrap Basic White stamp the sing in Crum Cake. Next stamp a sentiment and cut out the sign and attach with dimensionals. Adhere this layer to the card base by lifting up the top flap, giving you a very narrow border on the card base.
- Adhere the Glimmer paper to the front. Using the Sweet Songbird Builder Punch, punch out a bird in Sweet Sorbet and Orchid Oasis plus 1 additional wing in each color. Punch 2 bellies in Basic White and 2 beaks in Mango Melody. Stamp happy eyes on the birds and then assemble the birds, using mini dimensionals for the wings. Attach the Songbirds to the card with dimensionals.
- Use Starry Sky Twine, tie it around the top of the card front. Finish the card with several Iridescent Rhinestones and possibly a few music notes.
Can you hear your Sweet Songbirds Singing? I sure hope so and I’m fairly certain whoever you give this card to they will hear them too.
Happy Stamping!
Robin
