Today’s card makes me think about taking a walk along the shore or to takes a seat and lookout over the water. To me this card is simply peaceful. However, it’s a quick and easy card to make.

Card Recipe

• Card Base – Cut Pool Party Cardstock 8 ½ x 5 ½ score at 4 1/4  
• Card Front – Cut Basic White Cardstock 3 1/4 x 3 1/4   and ½ x 2 ¾ 
• Cut Basic Black Cardstock 3 3/8 x 3 3/8 and 5/8 x 2 7/8
• Inside layer – Cut Basic White Cardstock 4 x 5¼

• Inks – Pool Party – 126982, Soft Sea Foam – 147102, Old Olive – 126953
• Memento Tuxedo Black Ink – 132708
• Envelope -159236, Dimensionals – 104430 and Tombow Multi Liquid Glue, Faux Sea Glass Shapes Embellishments – 158139

Directions

1. Card Front – Using the stamp that is straight across the top and is longer on the bottom right side than the left. Use Pool Party Ink and stamp about ¼ down from the top and centered. Next use the stamp that is 3 inches long and narrow. Using Soft Sea Foam Ink overlap the Pool Party Ink slightly with the longest side.  Ink stamp again, flip the stamp and stamp again, lift the narrow end and move it slightly and press down again.
2. Using the tall grass stamp and Soft Sea Foam Ink – stamp along the left side.
3. Using the sea oats grass stamp and Old Olive Ink – stamp a little to the right of the tall grass.
4. Take the birds stamp and the Tuxedo Black Ink and stamp them in the sky.
5. Take the smaller Basic White card piece and stamp the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Ink.
6. Adhere the above pieces with Basic Black Cardstock using liquid glue. 
7. Take the card front and add dimensionals to the back and adhere to the front of the card about ¾ down from the top and centered.
8. Take the sentiment and adhere it with glue about a ¼ below the front and center as best you can.
9. Inside layers – Stamp tall grass with Soft Sea Foam Ink and the sea oats stamp with Old Olive Ink in the corner of your choice and adhere to the inside of the card.
10. Stamp another sentiment on the inside if you like.   
11. Finish the card front by adding Faux Sea Glass embellishments around the sea oats.
